This show features renowned Homebrewer Jamil Zainashef's second full appearance on our show, and it's even better than the first. More great information that includes all the best in fermentation tips, from yeast starter's to pitch rates to temperature control. And some good trivia fun too.

Kudos to White labs by Hank Bienert, October 07, 2009
FYI,I was paging through some old brewlogs and came across some late 2005 brewoffs.I'm a New Orlens area brewer, and in August,2005 after the federal levee collapse and resultant great flood we lost a lot including our LHBS.White Labs provided local homebrewers with free yeast for quite a while.Delayed but still big thanks to White Labs

g'day guys, is it preferred to put 1 or 2 carbonation drops into a 750ml bottle when doing secondary fermentation? I've heard people saying you must put in two, but others say one is fine. thoughts?

cheers!

Dann, I put one drop in the 750ml bottle, but then reopened them and put in another. The head was perfect. So,,,it's up to you how foamy you want the beer.

cheers,
tim
