Cascadian Dark Ale style by Mike Townsend, May 28, 2010
I have listened to your shows, but this is the first time I have written anything. I was reading about the new Cascadian Dark Ale style that is beginning in the Pacific Northwest. (such as the Widmer W'10 Pitch Black IPA). The article rates highest the Dark Cascadian Dark Ale from Deschutes Portland Pub the highest. What about trying to replicate this style as one of your programs?

Great Northwest IPA by W. Holt, June 10, 2010
Greetings!! I have a challenge for the brew daddies because I can't seem to find the recipe in Brewing Classic Styles. There is a great brewery here in the northwest that always has great reviews from the pub folks, and according to the regulars at Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle, is the BEST IPA in the northwest. I think once you taste it you will agree. Boundary Bay in Bellingham, WA has an awesome IPA that ranks right up there with the likes of Firestone and Russian River. I know big words, and trust me I enjoy both, but what I really want to know is, can you brew it?

Timothy Taylor Landlord by crezzer, June 18, 2010
Hi, I've seen many discussions on UK forums about brewing a Landlord clone. It's one of those beers that some pubs do well and some do very badly (luckily I live near to one that does it well) but when kept well it's one of the finest beers that can touch a man's lips. smilies/tongue.gif So wouldn't it be great to have you guys try a clone so we can brew it consistantly at home. Apparently it's got to be Golden Promise malt. Go on, take the challenge! smilies/wink.gif

Timothy Taylor Landlord Clone Show by Sugarfungus, June 25, 2010
I have tasted any number of beers, and as both a professional and homebrewer in England who doesn't miss an episode of anything BN, I would love to hear a CYBI show based on a pint of Landlord. I have had it in bottle which does not come close to draft. When you find this beer well kept you will drink nothing else until the firkin is empty or closing time. Period (Hmm, full stop).

Beer. It's the Future.
