O.k..
I'm sure you guys have covered this somewhere before. It's been a few years since ive used this yeast.

And i made my first All Grain Bitter. I forgot how this yeast worked.
Slowley is how it works..lol

I brewed and pitched on the 24th. Started with an OG 1.040. Checked it lastnight the 27th and it was down to 1.013.

How long is my wait probably going to be? I should add this is my first batch of beer in a long while.

That's only 3 days so far Shawn.. you're doin juuuuuust fiiiiine... Give it a couple more.... What's your ferment temp? Did you pitch a starter or just go right from the pack?? Thames does take a while, but 3 days is short for most yeast... Patience...

It's at about 65F. I pitched it straight from the pack. I should have probably gotten the XL Activator.:)

I forgot how the 1275 acts. It's alright though cause i'll have a nice yeast cake to work with.:)
Actually it would be 4 days. I just looked at my notes. Brewed and pitched on the 23rd.

It was a good smack pack. I had incubated it 2 days before i brewed. The night i smacked it. It was completly sweeled that evening..lol

A starter would have helped a lot. Take a look at His Holiness St. Jamil's site http://www.mrmalty.com/

A very silly place... http://yarnzombie.net/Travis/

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Thanks Lufah,

I'm a transplanted Ohioian..:)
I was born in Akron and raised in Cuyahoga Falls.

Wow that site is something else. 100 billion cells are required for 5.5 gallons of wort.
