Well I just ordered a copy or Homebrewers Garden or whatever its called and some Centennial and Horizon hop rhizomes. I'm going to try growing my own on the south side of my house where they will get plenty of sunlight. I am going to grown them in Very Big buckets instead of put them in the ground because I don't plan on being in my place for too long since my family is growing faster than these hops will. I thought I'd start this thread and see who else is getting ready to start their first crop.
Our homebrew club has acquired about an acre of land so we are going to start our own little hop crop there too. Any good advice from you fellow growers before I go and listen the 1-15-06 archive with Vinny C?
