I heard JP's looking for someone to plant tulips at his place.

Probably pays real well considering all that mad cash he makes at B3.

I try and do my part to keep Justin from running out of love. He has been running this thing on a shoe string forever and I am sure that has a way of dragging you down in the long run. If we want it to stay the way it is, everyone needs to do what they can. I don't think J or anyone else expects people to do more than they can. I really admire the TBN and everyone involved for its free spirit, lack of bullshit rules and the quality of the overall operation. In my opinion, it is money well spent and this way JP can just blow sailors just because he wants to.
10 bucks a month is a bargain.
Rock On TBN, you all really have set the bar for what internet beer radio is and should be.

I just received all of the BN gear I bought from the store immediately after reading this thread. With my new sweatshirt, my BN Army Training Manual signed by Rock Candy himself, Palmer and Pope Z's new book signed by his holiness, and a modest monthly donation, not only do I now feel like I am a true part of the BN Army, I may have just wet-dreamed a bit in all this excitement.

Thanks to The Brewcasters, their sponsors, and all of The BN Army for this awesome community. Keep up the fantastic job...you fucking butt pirates. :aaron

Damn, you're the one whose head is bobbing - not coming up for air. I guess it takes one to know one... :D

I know, I know..... they rule. That's why I donate.

I wasn't going to post on this thread as there was no "No Pants" option. But my blood is boiling due to events over the last few months and this donation thing.

To start with I think that the monthly cash contribution is a great idea and so I signed up thinking it is about time I gave something back to a network that provides me with enjoyment. I cant wait for the next show and try and plan days off to listen or sit by the computer on a Monday night spiriting J to pull his finger out and upload the podcast, my F5 key is worn out from refreshing the screen in hope that the podcast is there.

My $10 isn't much of a contribution in the scheme of things nor is it breaking my bank (even though the exchange rate for the Australian Peso is about the same as the one south of the Reo Grande) but I do believe every little bit helps.

To my point

I subscribed to regular payments a few weeks before J's RANT about the "..hey you guys, don't let your brothers and sistas carry the financial load.." thing and winced as he started his comment. I could see what was comming and BAM he hit home. I thought that I would have to cancel my donation and stop listening. Even though he used that squirmy voice and attempted to explain his way around things it still came across as a detonator for a guilt trip. Thankfully for me I bought it and continued to listen.

Recently, after my contribution, the shows seemed to dry up and yesterday I sat in the chat being entertained by a bunch of asshats instead of douchebags for more than an hour ofter the intended time for the Cellebrator show. There was talk of a coup where gucci, sorry I wont mention his name, suggested that an uprising could be the answer. I was hating Brewcaster J so bad at that point and then the stream came to life. J joined the forum, gave his pathetic excuse and I was in love again.

What was my point?

Thats right, I beleive that the members of the brewing network are bound by the brewers code and would not intentionally sponge of others. Even BooB makes a contribution in his own special way. There is no need for talk about letting your mates down by not contributing, I'm sure others would if they could. No guilt trips required here.

Sometimes I become very emotional about things that mean a lot to me, so fuck you Shat.

love

Much respect Grod. I have to say that I agree with some of your rants and not with others but all in all, just got some mad respect for a dude that voices his honest opinion! Great Post, and good day Mate!

I tried tuning in for about 10 minutes. For some reason every week I have to fight with Abacast for a while before I can connect. It tells me I need Winamp 5.xx, I have Winamp 5.xx +x. I enter the url and get some goofy message, I do God knows what else and 5 minutes latter I finally have sound. Last night I gave up, I figured there's no way the show was going to be on, I'd just spent all day brewing, and I was wasted so I just went to bed. I wasn't pissed at J, he gets a medal just for trying.

Oh yeah, nice going Grod for going beyond the call. Remember folks, for less than .07 a day you too can help.

Fuck feelings.
