maybe I'll finally post sumpin'

Alright, I registered during the lead up to The Conical Christmas... I guess its about time I started posting/reading this forum.

Ok, so I'm an american living near Antwerp, Belgium. I'm the only guy in belgium making american and english ales. I don't brew too many belgian styles since I am surrounded by them and they are cheap. Plus there is too much pressure trying to brew belgians when belgians (the people) are actually going to taste them. If I screw up an IPA they wouldn't know anyways.
see ya in the forum

Very cool. I bet if you stopped by your local brewery they should be able to give you some yeast as many craft brewers here do. That could make for some kick ass IPA's via Belgian yeast.
Just bring a sterile jar to collect it in.
Cheers.

it definitely doesn't suck being over here. Lots of great beer! Although, it is a very beer biased place. The only non-belgians you can find are (even then they are hard to find) guiness, bass, heiny, carlsberg, bud, and kronenburg. All shite. I have a friend in England and I am always asking him to bring over stuff when he comes. I love belgian beer but I do need other stuff. If any of you ever come over this way, fill your bags with US brew and I will definitely make it worth your while!
