1 - If you were serious I could reopen the cafepress store, although just about anyone has more claim to make money from RAT PAD merch than I do (I can only claim to have discovered the slogan) - I could even list the merch with no markup, so only cafepress would make money from it...

I saw that you mentioned me once before regarding this... I don't own the RAT PAD logo. I hereby donate it to ShaunO to do with what he sees fit.

Second, if you made money you could just donate it, right?

Third, we need RAT PAD coasters. That'd be too cool.

Fourth but not least, RAT PAD!

I hope that No Pants Day is being celebrated at the RAT PAD!

Well, I've been working on the restored store, but using the present 350x350 pixel image a clear (non-pixellated) product will have a rather small image. A 2000x2000 pixel original image would guarantee the ultimate in ratpadness. The coaster product is a ceramic tile that would look something like this:

I've also been working on another image, which so far looks like this:

And in case anyone missed it in my largely uncommented-upon thread "images", I've wasted more time on rendering this thing:

(higher resolution images suitable for desktop wallpaper available at http://www.jairwin.com/TBNLogo/)

If the unexpected happens and anyone buys a product, all RAT PAD profits will be donated to the Feed A Brewcaster Fund.

And by the way - I'd appreciate some help deciding what category to enter that rendered mug in, I was going for an American IPA but it seems a little over-carbonated and under-hopped to me.

RAT PAD!

Um, I don't speak for Justin, but...

The Rat Pad logo & store or whatever is probably fair game, but the TBN logo stuff, though it clearly represents a lot of hard work, is owned by Justin and he probably needs to keep total control of that.

Just sayin' before this gets out of hand. Justin can de-pants me if I'm out of line. Er, well, or if he just wants to.

Oh, RAT PAD.

I gotta second Code on this, as big a supporter and promoter of Rat Pad, BN is Justins TM and he needs to protect it.

First of all, I never had any plans to do anything even remotely commercial with the logo rendering. That image was actually created first and posted in a different thread. I had thought of it as my gift to Justin and the BN community, similar to the several audio gifts I've heard on the show. I was planning to create an animated version, but after all this cease-and-desist talk I'll just wait for my postings to be moderated into oblivion instead.

I only set the store thing up in the first place as a joke, and "re-created" it because of all the coaster comments. The coaster image is exactly what CafePress would produce and the image was to show two things. (1) That they don't make a plain cheap cardboard coaster which I assume previous posters were alluding to, and (2) the presently available image would not result in a satisfactory product. Rereading my post I guess it wasn't clear that the RP Store was still just a joke. If you search for it you'll find there isn't a Rat Pad store on CafePress unless someone other than me has created it.

Now that's cleared up I'll put my pants back on and go home.
