Greetings from Naples Italy....

Brewcasters and forum users,
This site has been a great resource for me. Being out of the country limits my ability to participate in a local brew club. The BN has filled that role. I have been working my way through the archives and the forum both have provided a wealth of knowledge and an equal amount of entertainment.
Right now I am living in Naples, Italy and perparing to move to Okinawa, Japan. All brewing activities have been put on hold until I get to Japan...except for the robust porter I have to bottle.......and drink.
On the way to Okinawa the family and I will be spending some vacation time in Northern California (Eureka area) and are looking for suggestions on good brewpubs. I have been away from the area for about 14 years so any assistance would be appreciated.

Welcome Nomadic4x4! This site is a great place to learn and be entertained. Do you get a chance to listen live in your timezones? Listening live and getting in the chat room is lots of fun.

I am going through a move and have suspended my brewing too. As far as Northern California goes, all I know is that Lost Coast Brewery is in Eureka. Some people from the site will point you in the right direction. The Brewcasters and Co. should be able to help you out.

Prost!

As far as Push's questions,
I am a Marine and have been one for about 11 years, before that I was a medic in the Navy. I have a great wife, and two kids (my son is my assistant brewer). Been brewing for just over two years, mainly extract with a couple of mini-mashes. The next big step is to get set-up with an all-grain system. I am looking to put together a decent all-grain system while I am traveling through the states enroute to Japan. This will be the second time in Okinawa for the family and me, so this time we know what we are getting into.
