First time listener, long time drinker...

Hey everyone!

Just a quick hello from Portland, OR. I'll probably be lurking for awhile. Well, at least until I log on after a few barleywines...

I enjoy poetry and long walks on the beach. And by 'poetry' I mean beer. And by 'long walks on the beach' I mean short stumbles down the street, falling into the gutter, chipping my teeth on the curb, only to be dragged back to my barstool by my brother who ain't quite ready to quit...

I also run http://www.portlandbeer.org in my spare time and of course I am a homebrewer (currently 5 gallons of fresh hop pale on my porch).

That's it for now. Cheers!

Welcome Matt!

That's a nice site you're running there for your community. I was thinking of doing the same, but then the only place on the site would be the Harleysville Hotel... and the newest beer added to the lineup lately is Keystone Light...

Hey, I just remembered why I brew...

Wow - the "Tools" you offer are great. That concept needs to be expanded to all communities, PortlandBeer!

Thanks everyone! Good to feel welcomed so early. I'm a bit behind on the Portland taplists for the week, so I've got to leave work early today and get down to business (which in my case means drinking...). It's gonna be a long weekend of research!

Cheers!
