Are FTFTS folks who, both sending and receiving, are first timers?

I would have sent some Lone Star but I didn't want to give him the runs. I'm not sure he'd ever forgive me.

At this point I believe it is tradition that I'll get my package after everyone else has received theirs, so hurry up so that my SS can get the go ahead to send his brews ... I'm starting to get thirsty.

If your SS doesn't come through I'm sure someone around here will step up and send some booze your way. Let's go :asshat:'s

FTFT's are new to the forum, signing up after the SS announcement was on the air

FT's are less new to the forum, but haven't done SS yet

Vets are lazy douchebags who have been around for a while

Everyone swaps with someone else in their own category - a vet isn't paired up with a FTFT, a FT isn't paired with a vet, etc. Basically like 3 swaps from the organizing side of things.

Ozwald gets me. :crazybitch:
Couldn't have described it better myself. I think the only exception was Doc, I put him in Veteran, he hasn't done SS since I've been involved with it, but figured I could hold him to not being a deadbeat. I think it was the same case for Nikobrew his first year.... so unless you are a Brewcaster or a sponsor, you start as a FT or FTFT the first time.
Everyone across all 3 categories that successfully sends this year will get put on the Nice List, and be in the Veteran category if you choose to participate again next year. Anyone that doesn't successfully send this year (the deadbeats), get's put on the Naughty List, and will not be permitted to participate next year.
Unless they are really sorry and jump though some yet to be determined hoops to show to me that they will actually follow through... that hasn't happened so far though.

It'd be such a shame to mess with tradition...

I can guaran-damn-tee that you WILL get beer this year though.

Its becoming more of a "Secret Cupid", which depending on who my sender was, I'm not sure how I feel about that....

I get you?!? All to myself?? :unicornrainbow:

I'd vouch for Doc. I ran SS before you were doing it & Doc made the nice list that year too. I might even still have the list, but I don't remember if I actually marked down naughty/nice. IIRC everyone made nice. It was more of a forum thing back then though. I called Beevo once maybe twice to have J put out a brief reminder, but we didn't make a big deal of it, so there weren't new folks signing up to the forum & trying to get in on it last minute.
