I just made my first kettle from an old keg, I am wondering will PTFE tape work to seal threads with out having to worry about contaminating my batch? I searched on here and a few other places and could not find were this had been directly addressed.
Yeah its fine. A small roll even came with my Blichmann conical. It can be sanitized. On a boil kettle the heat will sanitize it. Welcome to the forum!
