Sounds like my prayer to Ninkasi.

all the beers i brewed in february and march, i would tell my wife as i was filling the carboy with chilled wort.... "honey, this batch is going to make us $5000"....in hopes to win the longshot competition.....the other thing i say is "this is the batch that is going to make me famous!"

the things you say to let your wife be totally crazy about brewing.

Man, I got it easy... All I have to say to get laid is "honey, we might actually get to drink this one! :D "

well last night didn't work out for me. . If I don't get this done by next friday I'm going to have to sit this one out unfortunately. Right now it's looking like that's how it's going to go too.. How often do these happen? I feel like a bitch flaking out on this one

Right now we've managed to get 3 of these in over the last year and a half. It's a logistical nightmare to run one, but I think it's going to get better as we do more of these.

The worst thing that can happen from you bagging out this early into the comp is the rest of your buddies here calling you a douche.

Now, once the groups are solidified, bagging out will cost you 1) microbrew for each of your assignments, 2) continued judging requirements of the beers sent to you.

In any case, early to mid September has been tossed around as the proposed shipping date. Even if you age it for a month, you still have a month to brew it. I'll keep you on the list for now, and check back with you in a month.
