BN Intro Songs

Mon May 04, 2009 6:04 am

Hey J, or anyone else who wants to respond on this:

I've heard a lot of cool clips from bands I don't know during the intros to The Sunday Session, and yes, even that other show.

Could you please post the names of the bands and the song titles?

Thanks! :bnarmy:

I want to know which Rage Against the Machine recording has the air raid siren and Zack saying "Consider yourself warned".

Well, there's a Public Enemy song that starts out that way.... I haven't heard it on the Session.

On the Jamil show...that grinding guitar track that often leads back into the break... that's the Foo Fighters' "All My Life":

Calm down, don't you resist
You're such a delicate wrist
And if i give it a twist
Somethin' to hold when I lose my grip

Maybe it isn't RATM. It just sounded like them in the snippet. I'll scan through my Sessions tracks and see if I post a show and time stamp for track in question.

EDIT: OK, I'm and :asshat: That is the intro to a completely different podcast. It is a crime short story podcast called CrimeWav that I also subscribe to.

So, umm nevermind.....

There is Sleep Now in the Fire by Rage as one of the intro clips.

Another is Rise Against. "Ready to Fall" is the name of the song

Also Angels and Airwaves had a song as an outro. Shit I asked about it a while ago and forget which it is. There's a BN Music thread that has everything listed. Go search

On one of the podcasts in the archive there is a tequila/alcohol song.
I forget which podcast has it, but I would love to find it again.
