Brew guy from Germany

Sun Jan 04, 2009 5:36 am

Hello all,

I've been brewing since 2000 and I'm only up to 49. Been big into the Belgian beers lately since I've learned from a friend who owns Millivertus in Arlon Belgium. Looking forward to learning from the great community of homebrewers. Santa was good this year as I got a new 7 gallon stock pot, wort chiller and new fittings for the mash tun. Here's hoping the tastes keep getting better. Can't get enough of brewing, watching podcasts, and enjoying each beer as it goes down smooth. :aaron

BrewTat, I'm up to the 49th batch. I can get such good beer from my friend at Millivertus, the Belgian cantena near work and of course about 50 different German beers that I probably don't brew as much as I could. Of course, I try not to drink too much too. That's hard though during the winter as I can't fly the RC stuff, so brewing and enjoying takes precedence. Lately my beers have averaged over 8% too so I don't have to brew as much either. I have enjoyed the last 2 sessions brewing double batches. Last brew day started at 11am and ended at 9pm.

Wilkommen meiner Bruder!

Are you German or a transplant? If you're from Germany, your English is better than most of my neighbors'.

Enjoy the community. :jnj
