Hi from NYC

Thu Dec 18, 2008 10:07 am

I recently stumbled across the BN archives and I have gotten quite addicted. Just donated to get my name in for the conical.

I started brewing in October with a buddy of mine who had some equipment gathering dust, now I am really addicted. My father-in-law is building me a stir plate for xmas. I have done about 5 batches, the first one was awful, I am pretty sure it was due to some combination of reducing the boil to a simmer and covering the pot. The next three were awesome and I currently have a helles kit with kolsch yeast lagering in my garage.
