I just went to WI and I can say that there are a lot of nice breweries and brew pubs around. I would recomend a growler from "Great Dane" in Madison. Lake Louie brewing and... well yeah.. New Glarus, even though they had the most unwelcomming staff I have ever meet on a brewery visit.

Hey, Brewser, where in WI are you?

bcmaui, there are several brewpubs in Green Bay they could visit: http://beeradvocate.com/beerfly/list?city=Green+Bay&c_id=US&s_id=WI

I've only been to Titletown Brewing Company in Green Bay - neat place, it's in an old train station; the beer was good, but the service sucked.

Furthermore makes awesome beer, but they're in Madison: http://www.furthermorebeer.com/

Berliner Lacto Experimental ale

I am just outside of Milwaukee. I have not been to Madison for anything yet, but if there is some decent beer I might have a reason to go! My only visit up to Green Bay was for a Packer Viking game last year and I never stopped at any Brewpubs.
