...from New Glarus country

Fri Sep 26, 2008 2:21 pm

Just moved up to New Glarus country (Wisconsin) from Jersey a year ago and my brewing equipment has been sitting in boxes...until tomorrow! After stumbling across the Sunday Session (broadcasting, er uh, brewcasting at its finest) on iTunes, i was inspired by the organic show and ordered up an organic IPA from 7 Bridges Co-op in Cali...and tomorrow is the day! I'm back!!!

Howdy!

My supervisor has been busting ass and we are almost finished with this project.

I am sending him and his wife to Lambeau to see the Panthers game on Thanksgiving weekend. He is a Packers fan and always wanted to go see a game there.

Besides New Glarus, what other beer should he bring back?

He is from Oregon and last year started homebrewing again and is the reason I am sucked into this madness.

I would assume he will be going through Milwaukee, so they should check out the Sprecher Brewery and also the downtown brew pubs, Lakefront and Milwaukee Ale house. I am not sure what time of year they stop the booze cruises, but time permitting they might like the brewpub by boat tour that takes you to three brewpubs along the Milwaukee River. It is a bargain considering how many beers you get out of it.

How far is it to drive from Milwaukee to Green Bay?
