Newb from Lancaster PA

Thu Sep 25, 2008 6:05 pm

Just bought my gear (waiting for fedex to make the drop). Came across the Sunday show from Itunes podcast. Show is exactly what a beer drinker gone brewer would expect. I have a lot of archives to get through......but enjoying every minute!!

Let the games begin!

Welcome to the obsession! You will find lots of good beer information as well as a lot of good natured ( though sometime raunchy) fun. Life is much too important to be taken too seriously and we follow that philosophy here.

Some of the shows have much more beer information than others. In fact some, especially Lunch Meet, have none at all. So be sure to listen to several past shows before forming an opinion about us.

If you have any questions at all related to brewing, ask away. We are always glad to help. If you ask questions on other topics, we may lead you astray. 8)

Tell us a little more about yourself and be sure to tell us about your first brew session when you get around to it.

So far, the Frugal podcast has helped the most. I am listening to the Iron Hill session as I type this.

I have quite a few hobbies...most to all involve garage time and beer. Friday nights are spent in the garage sampling local brew and throwing darts. Jamming to tunes and racing shows are always on. My brewing will also happen in the "den" (garage). Summers consist of boating (boobs, beer and captain and coke), racing the stang and riding the bike (harley). Winters consist of Heavy drinking since most of my hobbies are out...until BREWING.........

I am in Lancaster PA, my garage and beer is always open to those that share the same hobbies or have new ones to share... :aaron
