This is my keggorator. The wife said if I made it look good, it could live in the house, so I spent several months (of weekends) working on the build.
First, I framed it with 2x4s, then skinned it with oak plywood and used oak baseboard molding on the edges for the "judges paneling" look.
I used Liquid Nails to glue a piece of 3/4" plywood directly to the lid of the freezer, then laid ceramic tile over that.
It fits 3 kegs in the well and the CO2 sits on the compressor hump.
About 6mos after finishing the project, the compressor died.

But what really sucks is that I got the freezer as a hand-me-down from a relative - so no warranty.
Since then Ive had to revert to using picnic taps in the garage beer fridge. I currently looking for another freezer with the same dimensions, because Im going to have to re-use the freezer lid - no way to get it separated from the countertop without breaking the tile - damn Liquid Nails.
