Does it HAVE to be from the kit? Or can we clone that suckah?
The girlie said she is ordering me the kit tomorrow for my birthday, but we'll see.

I'm hoping we're free to use our own yeast and not limited to the dry stuff that it comes with.

I believe Justin actually recommended using liquid yeast if you have it available. I ordered my kit last week, just waiting for it to arrive so I can get going!

Ordered my kit today.
I guess this will be the best or worst introduction possible. My first solo batch will be entered in competition! Looney tunes, yeah maybe, but it will keep me on my toes.
I'll do my best!
