falling rock. by far the best of the day. me and don younger sitting outside by ourselves for over an hour drinking beer and listening to him telll me about everything from a to z and how to bang any chick. lol what a memory. any real beer lover can appreciate hangin with younger. I can't believe all the stuff we talked about. its like doing weed without the weed. the dude is like a beer cowboy

This was my first GABF and first post here on TBN... I'm from Atlanta and all I can say was WOW!!! Everything from Dechutes, and Lost Abbey, Russian River, New Glarus, Alaska Brewing and others I can't remember blew my mind! I'm jealous because we can't get these beer in GA.

I finally had the 21A Watermelon Wheat and IPA which were great....AND if any of you had an opportunity go visit Rock Bottom Brewery, The Batch 3000 (IPA aged in Stranahans Colorado Whiskey Barrels @ 9.2% abv) kicked ass!

How could I forget....Tasty's IPA (Pliny Light) was freaking awesome!

Can't wait for next year!!!!

I had a great time at the GABF. Well not so much the festival as the other stuff that goes with it. I got to chat with Schuman, JP, and Mufasa at the Wynkoop brewery brewers dinner. I got to meet Beevo and Sam. Spent some time bullshitting with BDawg, Bugeater, and Shat's Dad at the GABF stewards reception. all nice folks. Shat's dad was a hoot. Hope to see y'all again some time.

Squiggy-
(sorry I missed your post - it was great meeting you too)

Looks like we might have another reason to drink together:

I just lined this event up for Tuesday Nov 18th at 7:30pm at the Rogue Issaquah Brewhouse:

Ralph Olson from Hop Union will be the speaker

Hope you can make it.

I too had the cantillon and it was WOW! Also had the Stone/Mikkeler/??? Triple. (can't remember the 3rd brewery in the collaboration). It was just as good.

A bunch of us BN'rs also invaded the GABF stewards reception where we ate all their food and helped down all the non winning beers.
