Hey folks I'll keep tallies over the next few days for this:

For August I'm going to heavily discount one variety of hops (per pound price, ounces are planned to stay the same). Yes I know my prices are already pretty discounted but there's four varieties I'm consdering discounting even more, for a limited time, and they're all high alpha

Apollo (currently $35/lb)
Summit (currently $30/lb)
Tomahawk/Columbus (currently $35/lb)
Warrior (currently $35/lb)
(before BNARMY 7% coupon!)

By far Warrior is our best selling variety of all of these so this would probably make the most sense to discount, at the same time I'd like some feedback if you've got a sec as to what folks would like to see. I'm running a pull on homebrewtalk.com and made a post like this one on my local brewclub's forum. I could just pick one of these but I'd like my customers to actually be able to give some feedback on this. Thanks folks.

Hop of the month feedback bump.. The poll I'm running on HBT will close tomorrow does anybody on here have a preference as to which variety gets discounted to $25 minus the BNARMY coupon code for next month of those varieties? Right now its a tight race with Summit in the lead, followed closely by Warrior and then Tomahawk.

I know I could benefit from some Columbus (just happens to be in two of the next four beers I plan to make), but that doesn't seem to be one of the ones in the lead. So... just keep the deals coming.

After days of the warriors fighting with their tomahawks on the summit, the results are finally in for the poll from the forum and newsletters and the results.....

1st Place - Summit at 21 votes
2nd Place - Warrior at 18 votes
3rd Place - Tomahawk coming in at 17 votes

As I made clear what I would do when I got the results in, what I've decided to do is discount ALL of these hops. You heard (read??..) me right, ALL OF THESE HOPS.

So here's the deal, for the month of August:

Summit has been lowered to $25 per pound (ridiculous price I know) but wait, there's more! Use the coupon BNARMY and get another 7% off, that's just $23.25 with the coupon!

Warrior and Tomahawk: $30 before coupon, $27.90 after!

Folks this makes Summit only $1.45 an ounce and Warrior and Tomahawk only $1.74 an ounce!

I will definitely leave the Summit price like this for a month, if I don't see an increase in traffic for the Warrior and Tomahawk though those may go back to normal, so here's your chance to save a LOT of money on hops.

Restrictions: Restrictions?.. I'm not sure the meaning of the word. All orders placed and paid for, we still have the unbeatable $5 flat rate shipping (Hawaii and Alaska gets the flat rate if only ordering hops, add equipment to your order and real shipping applies via paypal)...why are you still reading this?.. Go order some hops!
