Beginning label production: one done!

Tue Mar 29, 2011 9:24 am

Hey guys, my girlfriend/fellow beer nerd is studying graphic design and is doing the branding for our "brewery", Brasserie One Eleven. Here is the first example in our seasonal specialty series: Saison Noir, a black, winter saison. Feedback much appreciated. Image

The "Noir" was hand done in a ribbon text, then scanned, then "fixed" in a design program, then the rest of the design was implemented. We printed it on Epson photo quality self-adhesive sheets. We will be doing a shit-load of other labels and media. Very excited!

Very classy, minimalist look. Nice. I think the word Saison does something to my brain when I read it, now that I know it means much more than just season.

Thanks guys. I am definitely favoring the minimalist approach...and no photos. We're working on caps, coasters, and glassware at the moment. Beer geekyness is in overdrive!
