Another thought- the brett-bacteria form a pellicle defending themselves as a response against oxygen. If you use a beer gun it is supposed to flush the oxygen from the bottle. So if you use a beer gun to bottle it would seem logical a pellicle would not form in the bottle.

They could form a pellicle in the bottle over an extended period of time as oxygen will ingress under the bottle cap which it always does!

Thanks. Someone suggested I call the BDS done - even though I pitched Brett - when it reaches it's intended FG which is 1.027. I don't really care how long I have to wait so I'll just get it to the mid 20s and then cool it.

Where did you get the second rubber tip for your beer gun by the way?

A homebrew shop in Buffalo (Niagara Tradition) had them, believe it or not. They carry blichmann products though. I think my LHBS guy has them too!
