Yeah, it is made by Minibrew. This is their "Economy" version. This means that the plastic is thinner than their regular conicals. I have one of the 8 gallon models and like it. The plastic is definately heavy duty!

I have looked at this one a few times myself. If it would fit in my fermentation fridge, I might have purchased one. Even then I would need to consider how that would fit in with the rest of my processes. At this time it doesn't really fit, but it would be nice to have a conical at some point in the future.

I have been fermenting with this conical for about a year now. It was an inexpensive way to step up from a 6gallon plastic bucket. I have no complaints about this fermenter at all. All batches have been successful, it came with good high quality components. The only item that I was not impressed with is the stand. It is made of cheap plastic. Mine is still in tact, and I am still using it. However, it is a little wobbly when the conical is full of 5g of wort. It would not be difficult to upgrade but has not become a major problem yet. Overall, I would say that you can't beat it for the price.
