Sure thing.
For 5Gal batch at about 70% efficiency:
7lb Maris Otter
8oz Crystal 40/45 (UK)
8oz Flaked Barley
3.2oz Victory
3.2oz Amber
1.75oz Crystal 120 (UK)
(If memory serves, they weren't overly specific with the hops or I had to modify it or something, but this came out very nice. I have used Fuggles and EKG all the way through with nice results on both.)
1.0oz Fuggles @ 50min
1.5oz EKG @ 5min
0.5oz EKG dryhop
Ferment with 1968 or your British yeast of choice. I have done West Yorkshire and 1968 and they are certainly different but both good. I would probably go 1968 initially.
Fermented lower at 64 to start and then ramp up as things start to slow. It fermented out pretty quick.
On my setup, I use tap water to mash which is pretty devoid of minerals and sparge with distilled. I added these to the mash: 3g CaCl and 2g CaSO4 and 0.5g CaCO3. (in the link below, I used more and it was a touch minerally so I cut back on the salts)
This is the brewtoad link to my recipe/brew log:
https://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/regular-bitter-8I have tried a couple variants, changing around the hops and mashing/sparging method, but it is basically just little tweaks. They all have come out very good.
