Pus Rocket sign-in

Hi from Sebastopol, CA. Heart of the NorCal wine country, but I'd rather be brewing and drinking beer. I was given my first extract kit Christmas of last year and quickly moved on to all grain batch sparging.

I've been eyeballing a corner of my garage with an idea of creating a brewing room with running water and some sort of sculpture, but for now I'm brewing, drinking beer and smoking cigars amidst the cars, children's bicycles and a moldy dog in the the middle of the garage. Believe it or not, my wife thinks it's hot when I smoke cigars and "do my thing" in the garage!!!

I've been reading the forums and listening to TBN for a year now and am very impressed with how clever the crowd is here. And I say that even though I haven't had a beer yet today!

First of all on your avatar name. Eww. Id rather be firing blanks than puss.

Welcome to the BN! Once you convert part of the garage for brewing it will slowly expand. My garage is completly full with my brewing gear.

Of course she does ... she knows exactly where you are and it's not underfoot!

Welcome to maelstrom.

I guess I should clarify - where I "come from" we call hot dogs pus rockets. I really like pus rockets and beans!

When I'm brewing I can hear thumps and screams from inside the house - that'd be the 2 year old and the 4 year old - and feel an occasional twinge of guilt. Nothing another swig won't take care of, though.

My brewing wish list is growing fast - I've got to somehow sneak a 15 gallon kettle and a refractometer into the mix next. And I've torn the bottom shelves out of our refrigerator so I can fit a keg and CO2 there.

+1

Yeah, it sounds like you might have picked up, as FZ once said - an "unpronouncible disease".

Why does it hurt, when I pee?

I got it from the toilet seat... :toi

It jumped right up, and grabbed my meat!

My balls feel like a pair of maracas... oh God, I probably got the Gonno-ca-ca-cakus...

(Welcome aboard!)

So it's not normal to scream while you pee?

Hey there! It's a shame about your dog. When did she die? More to the point, why is she still in the garage. She'll stick to the concrete floor if you leave her there, you know....

Don't ask me how I know this.

In the past they've all turned to dust, then I just use a leaf blower to clear them out. But now that I'm brewing I'm kinda worried about infections if I get all that stuff circulating around in the air.

This is a Golden Retriever who rolls around in dead gophers and ??? then sits in the rain. When he comes inside he kind of ferments, if you know what I mean.
