Gruß Gott aus Deutschland

Hello. I have been listening to the brewing network for probably a little under a year, but only to the archives. One Sunday I made it to the live show, but was so offended, I had to keep drinking. :)

I am studying in Weihenstephan in Freising. It has only been one semester, but have definitely learned a lot. In November I made a trip to Brussels to drink some great Belgians at Cantillion and continued to drink Westmalle from tap, and some other ones. Good times.

So thanks for all the people that make the Brewing Network possible. Keep the dream alive!

If anyone is in the Munich area, I can't guarantee a place to sleep (maybe a floor), but I could show anyone around.

Thanks for the great times!

Welcome to the party!
It's funny you post, as I just booked a trip to Munich for 2/27 - 3/04. I might take you up on your offer if you're available.
Prost!

Awesome! I am actually flying into Munich on the 27th (leaving the 26th) from Colorado as well. I am flying on Lufthansa to Frankfurt and then Frankfurt to Munich.

I would love to meet up in Freising any of the nights while you are here. Unfortunately the circumstances aren't the best for letting someone sleep on my floor because of my roommate.

Anyways, keep me updated.

Later, Mark

Sounds good Mark!
I'll be arriving on Wednesday morning and leaving Sunday around noon.
Can I get to Freising on public trans? (MVV?) from the Hauptbahnhof?
Looking forward to it!

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
