Hey guys and gals,
I just thought I'd weigh in here and start looking for helpful info and advice. Sometimes its hard to find the answers I'm looking for in books or online.

A couple friends and I are getting started. We've done about 9 5gal batches since the fall. I'd say 7 out of 9 have been great. So we are seeking to get more into it and to figure out our equipment plan.

I moved here from California, and my favorite beer is only in CA, its called Firestone Double Barrel Ale. I've seen it on here already, and thats when I knew I needed to get on this message board.

I'm not sure if we should set up to do lots of 5gal things, or if there's a size or two bigger thats good for producing kegs from home.

Thats all for now,
Happy brewing,

Travis

Welcome...

I'd say if you and our buddies drink 5 gallons pretty fast, it may be time to upgrade. You may want to make sure your got your procedures nailed down...I can't imagine it is good to dump 10 gallons of a mistake...of course you could always send it to Justin :D :bnarmy:
