Mea culpa

Wed Mar 04, 2009 7:16 pm

Hi, I'm an asshole from FL that breached the etiquette of this forum and went straight to the classified ads. Apologies to all. Been brewing for a couple of years and found the brewing network about six months ago. This site and the broadcasts are raising the standards for homebrewers, I know my beer is better for it. I brew with a good friend and we have decided to keep brewing the same recipe until it is absolutely nailed and we then know our techniques are sound. We're gettin pretty close. Thanks to the network.

Hi, asshole! Welcome to the forum. Other than the brewers code, we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Welcome, and thanks for the introduction!

What have you been brewing (repeatedly, to nail down the techniques)?

We've been working on Irish Red Ale. I guess a more apt description would be that we're getting close to having the exact same set up each time we brew. The system is still evolving and the major pieces are in place, now its just tweaking. If there are any major flaws in the beer it doesn't seem to stay around long enough for them to show up.

Now, I just have to figure out how to navigate a forum.

Its Jamils. I have a freezer with a thermostat that I ferment in. It's in my garage and a lot of times this winter the temperature
was too low so the thermostat was useless, and I would feel pretty silly buying a heater. Who woulda thunk it.
