Heh, I got your point!

I'm in Rovaniemi for a few more weeks this summer and then my wife and I will be moving back to Tampere. I homebrewed for a couple of years in the U.S. before coming over here, not brewing at the moment, but always trying to learn and keep up with the craft.

Cheers,
Brandon

Nice to hear! I've been to Rovaniemi a couple of times myself, but because of the mosquitos I prefer the Southern Finland. I know Tampere pretty well because I used to live my school days in Hämeenlinna, not too far away from there. If you're interested in brewing in Tampere, you might want to visit these brewing shops:

KOTIVIINITARVIKE (Homemade wine supplies), Kalevanpuistotie 13
PIRKANMAAN VIINI- JA OLUTTARVIKE (Pirkanmaa's Wine and Beer supplies), Pispalan valtatie 21
I've never been to them myself but I've heard there is a friendly service in "Pirkanmaan Viini- ja Oluttarvike".

I got devoured by black flies a few weeks back--not fun. Thanks for the tips on the two stores. I'd found the first one online, but not the second. There's also this online shop, though it's based in Sweden: http://www.humle.se/webstore/. Hopefully I'll be able to buy everything at my local homebrew shop, though.
