Hey Brotha a big welcome to the Dairy State from another transplanted New Jerseyian. If you live in the Milwaukee area, you need to go to Roman's Pub on KK. It is my favorite beer pub, (and just recently named one of the 100 best places to drink beer in the country by Imbibe Magazine.)

Also, you might want to check out the local home brew club, the Milwaukee Beer Barons, we meet every 4th Wednesday of the month. PM me for more details if you like.

Welcome to the asylum!

Welcome to Wisconsin, you'll love it. Born and raised on the western edge of the state myself but between having New Glarus in every pub and store, our own local microbrewery, and a hometown Oktoberfest every year what more could a person ask for? If you ever get a chance head on over to La Crosse on the western edge of the state for the festival; it's well worth it.

Welcome! With all of the other make sures, check out Lakefront's Tour and Fish Fry on a Friday night. Be prapared to wait as it can get busy. The tours are hilarious and enjoyable. Miller has changed up their tour a little bit and are opening up the caves from what I hear. If you need suggestions on places to go out or stores to purchase from, I can give you some insight and feel free to PM any questions.

The Beer Barons is a great club and extremely helpful when it comes to brewing questions. We just had Goose Island come to our last meeting to talk about their beers. This month is Belgian Beers with Unibroue (SP??) www.beerbarons.org is the site.

Once New Glarus went to the self guided tour, it hasn't been the same. I was fortunate enough to have the in person guided tour a few years ago which was amazing compared to what they have now. Don't let that stop you from enjoying the beer though!

I spent 23 years of my life in WI. You'll love it! The food, the beer, the cheese.....and the white stuff they call snow. I live in a town full of yuppies now.....just not the same.
