Greetings from the pimple on New Englands ass, CT.

Hey there guys,
My name is Paul and I'm a fledgling home brewer from Connecticut, doing 5 gallon extract batches at the moment. I've been burning through the archives for the past few months and decided that I should probably pop on the forum and pretend that my opinions and thoughts are meaningful with the rest of you :P

<dick riding> The BN is fantastic, from listening to the archives, I've learned a lot and improved my process quite a bit. There's a lot of misinformation floating around in the home brewing world and it's nice to see that there's something like this out there. </dick riding>

Anyways, what are y'all drinking right now?!

Well, let's just say that you are not going to be making friends with Sheen, Shat, or Justin with digs on your current (and my former) state of Connecticut...

Welcome the the madness. Look out for Bub. And as for what I am drinking now... f-ing coffee. It is the morning time, you know.

Hey, hey now, I've not met a single person from CT who was willing to delude themselves into putting hometown pride over reality. Also, I've lived here since birth, thus, I feel I have the right and good reason to rag on it. It's all in good fun.
:P

Why should I watch out for Bub, does he have candy? I'm in the same boat as you, drinking some tea and gearing up for work!

Let's just say he has keg lube. I'll leave it at that.

Welcome.

I drove through CT once as I was escaping VT in late January. 49ers won the Super Bowl that year and it was cold.

My folks were from Valley Stream, I think they called CT "Long Island's Hat" or something. We should ask Beevo.

Believe I've heard that one before, it's one of the more complimentary nicknames.

I don't think I follow? I meant no disrespect by that comment, by the way. All love up in here.
