Hey Skeeter. Welcome to the forums.

So you're in a dry county? Glad to hear you've taken matters in to your own hands.

Great forum, good radio broadcasts, watch out for bub :D

American amber....undrinkable cause unknown
Oatmeal stout...terrible one major problem with both batches was water I learned this on batch 3 where I used bottled water and it was much better
Batch 3 was an IPA but I jumped the gun and bottled too soon so it was a little sweet.
Batch 4 was an American Pale ale and I hopped it up nicely and I am loving the results
Batch 5 is an IPA that I think I butchered but this one is still fermenting

I made an American Honey Amber Ale I didn't like either. It wasn't undrinkable but I just thought it was nasty. It was the first extract kit I ever made. It didn't clear and had a wang to it. I dumped it yesterday to free the keg for an all grain American Honey Amber Lager that tastes pretty darn good we have been lagering for a month and a half. I have another extract kit in the fridge, a California Common that won't clear as well. It has been there 3 weeks. I think I am thorough with extract kits. At least from the supplier (major big time player in the biz) I bought these from.
