Checking in From St. Louis

Mon Dec 03, 2007 9:00 pm

Hey BN Army,
Just thought I would say hi. Non bud drinking St. Louis native. Ive been brewing for 2.5 years, 1 year all grain with around 50 or so batches under my belt. Ive only entered 2 comps, but took a 2nd place for a Munich Helles, and an honorable mention for my Belgian IPA. Found the BN about 2 months ago and cant get enough.

Welcome to the BN, Love the Belgian IPA, one of my favorite soon to be recognized styles.

By soon I mean whenever we can get monks to dry hop with Amarillo's!

glad to have ya in TBN, i hear ya on the Bud thing, ill drink it if someone else buys it, but its a joke. We went to the brewery tour last year and was rather dissapointed in the lack of actual process you got to see. The smell of mashing grains was great though, and I got buzzed pretty good from diving all night on an empty stomach!
