New brewer in Concord, CA

Sat Mar 17, 2007 7:39 pm

Hey everyone! My name is Jared and I'm a new brewer. My friend Laura and I brewed our very first batch on February 17 and currently it's in the dry hopping stage. It's a triple IPA based on my own recipe. I frequent the chat room so I've probably talked to most of you there.

Take a look at our blog for pics and updates on the home brew! http://beer.thejphotogroup.com :D

Laura has a cute smile. I'll let someone else comment on yours.

Nice blog/site BTW and welcome to TBN!

Triple IPA by the hops alone, or was that malt bill beefed up as well? Post the recipe, and keep us updated!

I'll think about posting up the recipe after I know it's as delicious as the samples were before we dry hopped :D We ended up using seventeen pounds of malt for a five gallon batch.
