Hombrew in Japan

Sun Feb 18, 2007 6:36 pm

I'm a U.S. servicemember currently serving in Iraq. I started homebrewing when I was stationed in Concord, CA from 2002 to 2005. I'll be leaving Iraq in March 2007 and will be reunited with my family in Japan. Homebrewing is a family event for me. The whole family gets involved on brew day. I think my 10 year old son is the world's youngest brewmaster. My favorite beer is Porter.
If you are ever in Japan, in the vicinity of Hiroshima, send me an e-mail. We can visit the Kirin brewery and the one microbrewery in Hiroshima.

Cheers

Welcome to the fold, keep your head down, and put on some sunscreen (in both places).
Hope you will be able to join us "live" when you get out of the desert.
