I bet you can get your hands on some great brews from around the country.

So do you prefer east coast or west coast brews?

Yeah, I'm always on the hunt for brew pubs and stuff I can't get in MD when I'm out of town. And working for the distributors can be cool too. For instance, I was working with a Sierra Nevada distributor in SoCal and I was explaining to the Warehouse Manager that all I get in MD is the Pale Ale and Celebration. He hooked me up with a complete sampler pack of everything Sierra brews, which I promptly drank in its entirety, in my hotel room that night.

But I count myself lucky living in MD. We have Wild Goose Brewing in Frederick, MD. Jamil loved their pumpkin spice ale and their Snow Goose is 'bout the best damn winter warmer ale I've ever had.

I'm rambling but anyways...My family lives in Portland, OR so I'm a bit partial to a big hoppy pale ale. But to me, west or east coast brews are like the children I don't have...I love'em all.
