Hello, all!

Sat Mar 28, 2009 7:51 pm

I recently picked up brewing, again, after a two year hiatus. In the past I've done extract and partial, but the last brew I did was with a friend of mine and it was an all-grain.

My favorite beers are the big beers, that don't lend themselves well to the session beer category. I like the big, hoppy, IPA's, Double IPA's, IDIPA's, etc. I really like my craft beers, micro's, and home brews, but I can also take down some PBR or High Life while working on the lawn or in the garden.

Welcome back to the obsession. I am a fan of doppelbocks and imperial anything.

I prefer the bigger beers when doing yard work...that way after a couple, I say screw it...yard work is done!!

Welcome Hophed!

Big beers are my choice at the brewery/pub, but at home I still prefer something I can have a couple of and still play with the kids. Recently I've been leaning towards Belgians.

Cheers!
