Welcome, and I also recommend Better Bottles. I broke a glass carboy while cleaning it about 10 years ago, and the scar on my hand concurs with my opinion

Not only are they break-resistant, they are lighter and easier to move, and have a wider neck so they are easier to get things in and out, like dry hops, oak chips, taking samples for gravity readings, etc.

the wife, after reviewing my service record, has approved my request for brewing equiptment
