What's with the BN hate lately ???

I talked to a few people at NHC 09, who seemed not too positive about the BN. I think the reaction is governed by the following well know brewing gas passing law -

hate = A * B * 2.1495

Where A = Envy due to success

and B = the boring constant which varies from 1 to 10 based on the individual's degree of self focus and self righteous seriousness

I started out listening to Basic Brewing Radio - he's got some good info, but seriously, how long can you really listen to an NPR newscaster before you want to hang yourself?

I found The Session a few years ago by accident in iTunes when looking for more brewing shows. I started listening and thought "this isn't a beer show, it's just a bunch of people shooting the shit, but hey, it sounds fun so I'll keep listening."

Then I realized that there actually was some 'BEER INFORMATION' and I've been here ever since.

I thought about refuting some of the hate on the other boards, but I don't remember my password for any of them.

please elaborate on the "not too positive". We received nothing but good vibes. Damn closet not too postivers! You know I'm always up for the criticism. Hell I'd probably quit without it!

Yeah, I'd like to hear the comments too. There were a lot of us BNers sporting nametags (Thanks, Brewtat2) and a bunch of people bought shirts. Half the crowd was wearing the colors at the banquet--far more than those of us with nametags. Everyone cheered Doc and Tasty when they won medals. Who wasn't positive and why?
