Just a guess.

The weekend before or after, sure.

How bout a mid week TBN-4? Like say Tuesday or Wednesday? Would be easy to get a venue and it would also make it easier for us out-of-towners to hit both. Just an idea...

No weekend, no show for me :( . My job gives me absolutely no room to maneuver.

We're going to have to do some polling in hopes of finding the best night for the largest number of people but you can see from the posts that to the out-of-towners, Tuesday night is just like a Saturday night but that's not the case for the locals. If TBN-4 is a weeknight, locals would have to consider a vacation day. Locals attending the conference who work at a place that cares what kind of shape you show up to work in will have to take time off anyway. This would be an extra day.

The National Conference runs Wednesday night thru Saturday night if you attend one of the Wednesday night pre-confernece events that will be put on by local clubs (and maybe even the BN). If TBN-4 was Wednesday night, BNrs would miss some really cool pub crawls/beer-bus trips.

These are just my thoughts and in no way are meant to represent the current thinking of the BN. Sure I'll cry like a baby as I always do if I don't get my way but this isn't my party, its the Army's.

One things for sure. TBN-4 is going to be one you'll never forget. Same for NHC 2009.

I think the weekend before or Tuesday would both be awesome. I feel the pain for the locals, and definitely feel the pain in the wallet for the out of towners, but think of it this way. You've got a year to plan (stock up vaca and sick time, squirrel away some money) for the absolute best week of homebrew activities that 2009 will have to offer! Whatever the schedule, there's no way in hell I'll miss it - unless my liver shuts down in anticipation of the abuse.

Tasty and badrock are on the right track here. It will not be the Sunday after NHC. Those who have been (and are still recovering) know that nobody is up for partying Sunday after NHC. Everyone is a waiste.

It is more likely to happen Tuesday. I like Saturday before, but I don't think as many could make it from out of town and stay a week.

Know this, you will have more notice than ever, and we will consider as much as possible to accomodate the most BNer's...and it will happen with NHC (at least that week) so that most of you can attend both.

See you in Oaktown 2009 my brothas and sistas!

Prost!
