No, I can't possibly afford as little as $2.00 a month.

Put some No Pants options and maybe you'll see some votes.

I will be the first to say I haven't donated. BUT, I have bought a few shirts and a book and plan on buying a hat, so I contribute. I can justify the products with the wife but can't the cash. She isn't a big fan of the show, I think she falls in line with Doc's wife. Yes, I am whipped!

She works at the bank and sees every transaction that goes through our account, so I can't sneak it buy. I am still trying to figure out how I can but until then, it will have to be products.

Sorry, BN Army, I will join the ranks eventually I promise just haven't yet and at least I have the balls to come out and say it!!

This post has made me feel bad so I guess it has worked it's purpose. I suppose going further in debt by $24 a year at a time shouldn't be that hard. So, now that I have laid out the excuses, I suppose I better go charge this on the credit card huh? I might as well continue to feed my family ramen and be kicked out of our house and...

Granted, while I am kidding a little, it doesn't make someone a bad person because they can't contribute so let's try to keep the rhetoric down. Especially if they are buying products of the site as their way of contributing.

Oh, and I didn't vote because there is not a no pants option.

I am in the Army, but I am with Brewbum and Geist... this poll lacks a "No Pants" option and therefore, by TBN forums unofficial rules and guidelines (section twelvety, paragraph blue, subsection five-o-clock) this poll is rendered invalid.

Have not directly donated, have bought merchandise, click on ads and such.

I usually do my yearly donations to various causes (and yes I do consider the short bus BN a cause :D ) in January but due to becoming unemployed the Monday before Christmas, everything has been on hold. Once I'm employed again, a donation will come.

And BTW, for those that think that $24 is not a big deal have never been in a situation where it is, and I hope you never will.

I was adding the no pants option when I decided not to. I wanted it to at least look serious.

Ranger johnc66: I return the salute! Feel good now?

BrewBum: The purpose of this thread is not to make anyone feel like a bad person. Buying products works too!

I posted this to remind the folks who listen to at least part of the programing and use the forum that there are over 2000 registered users of the board. Some are inactive or dead, but if half of the users just sign up for $2 then the shows that we all love (or tolerate). Just think about it. J says he doesn't want anyone contributing if they don't want to, but we should want to - even if we can't.

Keep in mind that you can also make a one time donation HERE. Another option is save your spare change and get a Money Order and send it in periodically (the wife is none the wiser  )

I don't have a subscription, I dump a load at them every few months. Actually a better deal for them cause of the transaction fees.
Plus my on air contributions are so much more valuable than any money I could offer. :)

numsquat: That really sucks. What line of work are you in? I forgot about the ads - that's something we can all do. It's not $24, it's less than 7 cents a day! (Sales 101). When you're in the store take the pennies in the "add a penny take a penny" cup!
