I think hate is a strong way to describe that thread. I thought most of the 'haters' were basically saying that it was not for them.

I dunno just seems lately I keep seeing little comments that basically say the same things. That thread was just the one that kinda sumed it all up. But I have seen it at Morebeer too.

Just kidding...mostly.

No show/food/whatever can be everything to everybody. There will always be some contingent that doesn't get along with whatever it is. All a matter of personal taste. Most of the comments seemed rather flattering, and most of the detractions were worded/argued fairly well. I agree with a number of the points made on both sides, but I'm not going anywhere until there is more asshattery than info. Right now it's still a 1 part 2 parts info set of shows, so we're all good.
