Re: What's with the BN hate lately ???

I want to know when it became wrong to have a little fun while learning a ton of new information. I don't think its a coincidence that so many Bn'ers have placed beers in the second round, or that Bn'ers are dominating the Longshot Competition.

And we're some of the coolest and easy to talk to brewers out there. I haven't met a Bn'er and been like "this guy is a 100% douche", but I have met some guys that don't follow the BN, that I wanted to break my bottle and cut my own throat to get out of the conversation.

I say bring on the hate, and when BN shirt after BN shirt take the podium this year to pick up their hardware it will prove that we don't need to bash anyone because we let our beer do the talking.

There are other shows? I only listen to the BN and there is a reason for it.

If it were possible to condense all the information provided by the BN into one bland show it would still last 2 hours and have over a year of shows. The BN takes all that information and packages it in a format that allows you to take a breath. I love information as much as the next guy but the entertainment value added by the BN makes it that much easier to retain.

It's the natural order of things. Back a few years ago, if a story was posted on ESPN about the Gators you would see a few hate comments posted below. Usually FSU guys. No big deal. Now that the Gators are winning titles, every little mention of them brings out a billion haters. One of our CB's got tazered recently. Two thousand comments to the story within a day. That's just what happens when you are on top of the mountain. Everyone tries to claw you down. It is the ultimate sign of success. If nobody was writing hate threads about the BN then the BN would be a failure bc nobody is talking about it or knows about it. So I see this as a good sign.

I think hate is a strong way to describe that thread. I thought most of the 'haters' were basically saying that it was not for them. And, if not, then good! The BN attracts a certain kind of asshat :asshat: one that knows good beer, and knows how to have a good time. Even if that means revisiting some childhood fart jokes. But, ya gotta admit, fart jokes are funny! :bnarmy: :jnj :bnarmy:
