Close encounter with a shark today

I had just climbed out of the water and saw a fin comin' at me. "What the hell...?" I said to myself. I stepped onto the swim platform of the boat I had been working on to get a closer look. A four foot leopard shark swam right at me, turned, looked at me and swam off. As he did, I reached in and petted him.

Hazard of the job. :P

Wow, Beerpal. I knew that you were kinky, but, petting a shark? Jeez.

How'd you get the photo?

Gooch, They have this thing called the internet now. You can get pix of just about anything there.

I think Gucci was thinking what I was thinking as well; that THAT was the actual shark you encountered, cock.

Cool story. What do you do for a living (besides abuse your liver)?

It's cool, I opened myself up to that comment. I should know better that Beerpal can even work a camera.

I understand what Gooch was getting at. Maybe pilots have the spare time to snap pix while on the job, I however, work for a living.

I am a self-employed vessel maintenance diver. In other words, I clean boat bottoms. Although in this particular instance I was pulling a 24" prop off of a 43' powerboat.

I used to play with sharks myself back in my younger days in the Navy. My roomate and I were actually banned from the beaches in Pensacola Florida after we grabbed a 3 foot nurse shark and drug it ashore. Something about creating a panic on a busy Saturday afternoon at the beach...... Go figure.
