Carey Price is the real deal. I've seen him and he's scary good.

And Kovalev with 34-35 goals I think? Plus the young Kostitsyn bros and the support cast that can easily beat anyone one on any night?
I guess you're right. We have NO chance at all.

The only thing wide open is your mouth when you see the Habs win the Cup this year.

Back to where it belongs. Hardest trophy to win in pro sports.

* i'm with you, the East is going to be VERY exciting to watch.

Easy now ... comparing Price to Roy :)

No doubt the Habs are a good team. I'm just razzing you man. But I watched Kovi crap it up before. I have no faith in him.

My arms will be "wide open" when you ned a big hug after they are knocked out in the first round ;) :)

Gotta love the Playoffs ... how do people hate this sport?

Price has almost the same ''road'' to the NHL as Roy did. Both brought up then sent down in their rookie year, both win MVP and Calder cup in the AHL, pretty sure Price is one of only 5 to win 20 before 20 yrs old, AND one thing Price did more than Roy was win for team Canada in the World Junior Championship...beating the USA in the semis by stopping them in a shootout.
So this is why a lot of people are comparing him to Roy. But I do agree that only time will tell.

This is Kovalev's second best year EVER.

I can't wait for Saturday night when the Habs finish the season and can finally get into Playoffs mode.

You guys are all wrong!!! It's gonna be the Pens bringing the cup back to Pittsburgh!! Rangers... you guys seem to play us tough every game, but I don't think you're going to make it far in the playoffs when you rely on a guy like Jagr to lead the way. He's a little bitch (and I can say that because he used to be our little bitch).

The Caps... I know he's the leading scorer in the league, but Ovechkin hasn't done anything against Pittsburgh that really scares me. I mean... he's good, but he has yet to step up his game against the Pens.

The Sharks - HA!!

The Habs... I'm just waiting to see Kovalev meltdown and sink in the playoffs (I've seen him do that before).

All that being said... Other than the Sharks stuff - the East is going to be so much fun to watch. You notice no one is really talking about the West (other than JP) - that's because there's no one worth talking about!! All of the excitement is going to be in the East. I just hope we don't all beat the crap out of each other and then have nothing left in the tank to stomp on the West!!

Oh yeah... did I mention that the Pens won the Atlantic Division last night! It's going to be Montreal and the Pens in the top two spots in the East!!

How can you hate a guy who brings you back to back cups? I'll never understand that. Yeah, he left the Pens ... it happens ;) Just like i don't get it when Lightning fans boo jagr. I can sort of see why Caps fans would, and maybe pens fans too, but the boooo birds every time he touches the puck is rediculous.

But ... the rangers aren't relying on jagr ... thats apparent by his lack of production and the rangers success so far.

But yes ... cheers to hockey fans.

Hey... I love the fact that we got two cups with Jagr on the team. He was the next heir to the throne when Lemieux retired (the first time)... the problem comes when a guy insults the people (and by people... I mean women) that live in the city he plays for. That's where the animosity comes from. You just don't insult the ladies - the guys a rectal plug.

I'm just sayin'. Once... he was good and the city loved him. The last game that we played at home against the Rangers... the fans boo-ed Jagr and cheered for Straka. This town knows when a player leaves because it's Hockey and when a player leaves because they're an ass.

fair enough ... i understand grudges. Ranger fans still to this day shout "Potvin Sucks!"

My beef with the booing of Jagr is most teams have no reason to boo him, especially this year ... ahem Habs ;)

It would have been nice for the bolts to show up against the canes...

The Caps better win against them tonight!

For the record, i hate the bolts and their greasy lionel ritchie haired coach. I am a transplant from NJ who over pays the cable company just so I can watch the Rangers. ;) :)

But I was rooting for them last night. I wan to see the Caps over take the Canes.
