Our bartender last night was smoking hot. It was great!

The beers were good. No problems with them at all. Service was good too.

Well, it's not the 30 minute ride that bugged me. I wanted a growler of the Kölsch for the ole lady but since they don't brew there, they don't sell them.

BJs house beer is decent. I think they have a red and a brown that aren't bad - but I honestly can't remember. The last 10 times I have been in there, I have probably ordered from their Belgian offering - with is pretty extensive for a brewpub. Food is better than some other lunch places too. Ours is staffed with N. Phoenix/Scottsdale hotties. They don't know very much about the beer, true. But the service is fine.

Now GBs is just a great place. Nothing like fresh, well crafted German lagers. Food is very good. It can get a bit pricey - but I never leave there feeling cheated.

I had a 6er of that bison choc stout, every bottle foamed over, no way to not lose a lot of beer. I didnt even like the beer that was a left over. I'm thinking I'll never buy another Bison beer.
