Price has been playing injured. His left thumb is screwed up. That's why he has trouble with the glove. But I do believe that part of it is between the ears. This is a young kid, thrown into the Montreal spotlight and almost expected to win every single game.
The Habs were meant to finish 12th this year, they got 1st. I think this is what needs to be looked at the most. Carbonneau will win coach of the year.
We made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs and it's not over. I still believe in my Habs and I predict a crazy blowout on Saturday. Habs win by 4

Wait a minute Shunt! You were screaming from rafters how the Canadiens were bringing the Cup back to Canada this year. Now you're saying "the 2nd round is pretty good", "Lets focus on how we finished the season 1st in the East"??????

No, that's not how it works!

I predicted the Rangers would make it deep in the play-offs (meaning third round). I thought they could win the Cup, but not likely. If they get knocked out this weekend, I will come on this forum and eat my share of crow, but I wont treat it with kid gloves and pretend they made other meaningful accomplishments.

You don't get to change your goal half-way through the play-offs! :o

And if I may pile on, you made Price seem like the 2nd coming of Patrick Roy ... and now his finger hurts???? this isn't basketball. Guys get stitches and play the next shift. Now he's benched for Halak. One day he might be great, but a rookie's a rookie.

Now, in your defense, they are NOT playing like they played the end of the season. NOBODY on the "K" line wants to shoot for some reason. I'll never understand that.

Yeah, poor Avery played the whole game with a lacerated spleen!!!

:D

And I guess I'll agree with Tampa that their play has changed. They need to get back on track.

I find it funny, that all three of us who had side bets on this years play-offs find our teams down 3 games to 1... ouch!

just being realistic. Unlike the rest of you yankees.

read carefully and you will see that I am not giving up. We will still win the Cup but it's just a bit harder than I thought. I figured that the U.S based teams were more focused on their sisters or monster trucks and not on hockey but I guess I was kinda wrong. They were all promised a shot at their sister and a spot on American Idiot if they really gave it their best.

Nice try, but seeing that I'm not French Canadian, that statement just fails.
Open up a book on other cultures one time, you might be surprised.
