sorry, i went off topic on a Family Guy quote.

back to hockey!

Crosby's a diver. Sissy. No respect for the game. :) ;)

I hate that when someone gets called for a dive that it always goes hand in in hand with the penalty that they embellished by diving. Makes no fucking sense. By definition, isn't a dive faking or embellishing a penalty. If that's the case, then how can you get called for a penalty if the guy you are "infracting" on faked it? It's bullshit. The dive should be called alone. No matching minors.

You know... the funny thing about Sid is the fact that he draws a lot of penalties, so people think he's diving. BUT... there are a lot of things that aren't called, like that hard slash that Avery put on him in the second period of the last game. Or any of the high sticks that I saw Avery give him during the regular season. They even show them on instant replay... and nothing is called on those. So... some of the ones that you guys think are "diving" are just make-up calls for the ones the refs know they missed.

That being said... I have to agree with TampaBrew about the diving penalty. I think that is stupid how you can get a penalty for tripping a guy and he gets a dive. Well... if he dove, then it wasn't really a tripping penalty, was it?!?! I saw that called a few times this year when Malkin was called for tripping and the other guy was called for diving. That makes no sense!!

So it goes in the world of hockey. The hockey gods will let it work itself out in the end.

Game 3 tonight...
GO PENS!!!

I also think "make up calls" are BS. If it's missed fine ... we can bitch about it being missed. But if the call is a "make up" for a missed call, then that is total BS.

Game 3 ... can't wait.

I'm not saying anything about the Sharks or Canadiens today. I don't want to upset Karma...

That being said, The Rangers are home, and are going to even the series. (if they start playing like they did at the end of the season and in the first round)

They need to hit hard, shut down the offense, and royally piss off Fleury!

Go Rangers!!! I'm not giving up on you!!!
